
The season of triathlons is upon us. A triathlon is a multiple sport competition that usually includes swimming, cycling, and running across various distances. Being prepared for event day is esstential to performing at not only your best but also making sure you finish the event. Triathlons can be challenging both mentally and physically, so being prepared for race day is essential to optimal performance. One of the best ways to train for a triatholon (or any other type of endurance competition) is what we call "cross training". Cross training improves performance by training in many different ways. Cross training takes advantage of numerous muscles in the body in a variety of different contexts.
